It's been said that laughter is the
best medicine. In fact the book of Proverbs tells us
just that. "A joyful heart is good medicine..."
17:22
This site came about as a result of focusing on joy
and laughter in a time when most people see little
hope. It's a way to take control of the illness and
poke fun at it instead of allowing it to define who
you or your family are; a way to join in with a
family member or friend and support them in their
battle.
Our son
Matt
left this world on April 6th, 2011 at the age of 12
after being diagnosed with a rare inoperable
brain stem tumor in November of 2009. Matt was the kind of kid who liked to make people laugh. His
favorite thing was to watch the looks on people's
faces when he had on one of his t-shirts about brain
tumors. It was a great way to break the ice with them
when they didn't know how to react or what to say to
someone going through this.
Matt's humor was and still is the catalyst for creating the items
you see on these pages. Hopefully you will see
something you like. Thanks! |
